2025: A crazy year so far..

We watched Pulp Fiction again.. It's 30 years old now.. but somehow in 2025 it feels like in we are living in a dystopian sci-fi comic book world where awesome and awful are two sides of the same coin.
I don't know why it is that I get to to choose awesome most of the time or why so many others have to deal with an awful lot of awful at the moment. Does life really come down to the toss of a coin, the roll of a dice or the turn of a friendly card? Are we just stuck with the hand we are dealt? We do get to choose whether to hold or to fold or to take another chance but it's only once the cards are on the table that we get to see the consequences of our decisions.
